In his capacity as a non-professional lay theologian and philosopher, Jim speaks frequently at his home church, the Lewis-Tolkien Society, small groups, retreats, and college and university forums.

Leveraging his professional background, in addition to projects in the for-profit sector, Jim also provides church and non-profit consulting—from practical, management- and admin- consulting, to deep, theologically reflective strategy and organizational design projects.
